What we deliver

Our loading arm services

Seven specialised services covering the complete loading arm lifecycle — from first installation to end-of-life overhaul and operator training.

Inspection

Inspection & repairs

Comprehensive inspections covering swivel joints, seals, hydraulic systems, counterweights, support structures, and critical mechanical components. Our inspection capabilities include drone-assisted visual assessments for elevated structures and difficult-access areas, enabling efficient condition monitoring and defect identification. Where repairs are required, we carry them out on-site or at our workshop in line with OEM recommendations.

Major works

Major overhauls & refurbishment

When loading arms reach the end of their service interval or show signs of degradation, we deliver full overhauls — loading arm extension, sealing replacement, hydraulic system refurbishment, and safe disconnection system servicing. Our goal is to restore factory-level performance without full arm replacement. Typical overhaul time: 1–2 months per arm, subject to parts availability and jetty access.

Maintenance

Emergency Maintenance

When unexpected equipment failure strike and downtime threatens your bottom line, our certified emergency maintenance teams deploy rapidly to execute precision repairs and safely restore full operational uptime.

Installation

Installation & commissioning

For new terminal builds or arm replacements — full installation and commissioning from receiving and rigging through to functional testing and handover.

Upgrades

Upgrades & technology refresh

Older loading arms upgraded with current technology — improved sealing systems, enhanced safety interlocks, and modern control systems — extending operational life and bringing them in line with current standards.

Training

Operations & maintenance training

We train your terminal operators on safe loading arm operation, routine checks, emergency disconnection procedures, and basic troubleshooting — reducing dependence on external support for day-to-day operations.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1What brands/models of loading arms do you service?
We primarily service Technip Energies loading arms, including marine loading arms used for LNG, LPG, refined products, and chemical transfer applications, e.g., RCMA and DCMA. We also have experience in servicing loading arm-associated equipment.
2Can you carry out loading arm maintenance while the terminal is still operational, or does it require a full shutdown?
Some inspections and maintenance activities can be performed while the terminal remains operational, subject to safety requirements and terminal procedures. However, major repairs, overhauls, or major component replacements typically require the loading arm to be isolated and taken out of service.
3What is the typical turnaround time for a full loading arm overhaul?
The turnaround time for a full loading arm overhaul depends on the arm type, condition, and scope of work. Under normal circumstances, a complete overhaul can be completed within 1 to 2 months per loading arm, provided all required spare parts are available. It also depends on the availability of the jetty.
4Do you stock common spare parts, or is there a lead time for OEM parts?
We maintain a stock of commonly used spare parts such as seals, gaskets, packing, and other consumables. Some specific components are long lead items, which require procurement from the manufacturer.
5Do you provide emergency response for loading arm failures during vessel loading?
We primarily service Technip Energies loading arms, including marine loading arms used for LNG, LPG, refined products, and chemical transfer applications, e.g., RCMA and DCMA. We also have experience in servicing loading arm-associated equipment.
